Dina Meyer was raised and born in Forest Hills Queens New York. Just before finishing the junior high school, she moved from Queens and moved to Dix Hills Long Island. She is the younger sister of Gregory, and has an older brother named Evan. From the age of nine up to 16, she started working in the entertainment business through acting. Her acting education began at The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York and studied Sanford Meisner's acting techniques along in conjunction with Ron Stetson, for about three years. Sandra Bullock received similar training, along with Michael Douglas and Jeff Goldblum. Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton and Diane Keaton are also among the actors that have undergone this type of training. Her debut role was Beverly Hills 90210 which forced her to relocate from Beverly Hills to Los Angeles. The role was as the main character in Johnny Mnemonic in which she was able to perform almost every stunt her self, establishing herself as a skilled actress. As well as Matt LeBlanc's agency for talent, her agent was in charge of a variety of roles that recurred on Friends.
